That's just the way it is...
And today I feel brilliant again. Very happy, lots of energy. Enjoying Rach's visit immensely.

Cancer: a curse, a blessing and a wild unpredictable journey. (Actually, it just sucks a lot of the time.) A rambling, slightly irreverent account of my journey through life and cancer. Come and find out what a 24 year old with a black (and pretty terrible) sense of humour thinks of the whole thing. Warning: not expected to end happily.

Dear Mrs Horton
You're not a whingey bitch - you're a really incredible person who's been given a difficult gig and you never cease to amaze me with your ability to live with it so positively.
I'm really glad that you're happy with Jason - there's a lot to be said for a good man (especially one who hangs out the washing)! Keep him barefoot and in the kitchen apart from the odd release for recreational activity!
Your wedding pics look fantastic - the Red Shoes are very you - and you look really really radiant. The flowergirls and bridemaids also looked great and the hall decorations were superb. Isn't it amazing what people can do when they're up against a deadline?
Life back at the palace is not quite as exciting as our trip thru italy (but it's definitely cheaper). When do you expect to be back in Sydney?

Congrats on your wedding! Hope optimism and happiness will continue to flow through your heart and life!
Of course you are an inspiration for those of us that tend to whine more than it is appropriate (e.g. me) and I guess I am just one of the dozens telling you that.
The pictures from the wedding are brilliant. And talk about inspiration, you did give me a few ideas with the dress and the colours... ;)
However while I continue to dream of things (refusing to study), hope your married life is everything you wished it to be like.

Hiya Jess!
Just saw the photos of your wonderful wedding. I'm so proud of you Jess. All grown up and with your own family. Wow! I was at a temple in Nara, just south of Kyoto the very day before your wedding, showing Mum around. (She's just been over here for two whirlwind weeks) and I thought of making a little video message to express my wishes for you,Jason and Emily, plus all of your extended family. It was too big to email, so, with the help of Lavinia (she's a clever young lass) I've posted it at youtube.
So, bon voyage on your journey into this new phase of life, and be sure to introduce me to the new hubby as soon as I touch down on Aussie ground.
Cheers and love!
Nik
Hey Jess
Just been catching up on all the goss - photos look amazing, it must have been an amazing ceremony.
Anyway, I had a thought about your surname conundrum (a bit late I know). You should take the start of Jasons, and end of yours. I'm sure you can make 'Hof' - that way you can drive a talking car and ponce about on beaches all day.
Cheers
Mark
